Truthdig.com approached me to produce their annual end-of-year holiday animation, and I brought in the incredibly talented Myke Allen to help bring their vision to life. The piece was a satirical take on A Christmas Carol, highlighting the dangers of poor media consumption and the urgent need for grassroots action on social issues.
I handled all technical aspects of the animation and collaborated closely with the Truthdig team and Myke to storyboard, problem-solve, and execute the concept. The final animation was part of Truthdig’s fundraising campaign and proved highly successful — both the animation and the campaign earned awards from two prestigious journalism organizations in California, and received glowing feedback from Truthdig’s readership.
